On
April 30th, in collaboration with the East Asian Languages and
Cultures China studies faculty, the Center for East Asian Studies and the
library hosted the Lawrence High and the Free State High School’s Chinese
language students for a KU Chinese program orientation. China studies faculty,
administrators, librarian, KU Chinese language students, and alumni gave
presentations to interested students and teachers of the
Confucius Institute.
Great insights, this is very informative blog. I enjoyed reading about the students’ Chinese language learning experience and how it encourages greater interest in the subject. Such engaging learning opportunities can also complement the support students receive through secondary school Chinese tuition.
